"Beau Jest" is a romantic comedy written by James Sherman. It tells the story of Sarah Goldman, a young Jewish girl, who has a non-Jewish boyfriend. Her parents keep pressuring her to find "a nice Jewish boy". In an effort to appease them, she hires an actor to pretent to be her Jewish beau. However, despite the fact that his name is Shroeder, he's not Jewish either. |
This production will be presented by Sandy Spring Theatre Group at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn. Show Dates: Feb. 15, 16 & 17; 22, 23 & 24; 29, Mar. 1 & 2.
