| 1. Get a visa
|
| 1.1 Get it stamped from corresponding
embassy in Sri Lanka.

| 1.2 At times can get visa on arrival. At your
destination there should be a person carrying visa

| 1.3 Some countries are open visa countries for
which you don't need visa |

on VISA type this can be simple or complex process. |
| generally : try to
find embassy procedures before you going there (when they open, form
filling requirements...etc) |

| 2.Get a ticket through travel agency.
Call a travel agency and inform your requirments. They will arrange
everything for you. |

| 3. Get TCs (eg. Thomas Cook from HSBC). You
are allowed to take fixed amount of (2500USD) exchange from the country.
You have to produce the passport to collect TCs. They note it on your passport
the amount you took. Generally TCs donot expire. At air ports you can
convert them into local currency(with a commission) |
