THERE IS ONE thing in common with Texas and her Thweatt residents. They cover
lots of earth and, in many cases, claim no relationship and often have never
heard of the other Thweatt families.
The following line will give the descendants of another one of the Thomas
Thweatts. There is one thing that distinguishes him from all the rest; this one
came from England later than any other Thweatt of record, somewhere about the
year 1810 to 1815. He and his family joined other relatives of Virginia. It
would be interesting to know just what place in England he came from, and which
family he joined in Virginia.
Thomas Branch Thweatt, born in England; m. Dec. 16, 1812, Nancy Jones

grandfather, Thomas Flewellen. We had an uncle Kinchen Thweatt." If this
