Congratulations!!!

Tarkmang, u finally made it!!!  Yeah!!!

31st Aug 2000, the night of singing of rejoicing......why?  Our dear Ah Pa ex-Xinyao Head  Tarkmang made its triumphant victory in Rhapsody 2000, a singing competition organized by CACS VOICES of NUS.  Among the 7 really high-standard solo category candidates, Tarkmang made his breakthrough with the song "zhui4 jin4 de ju4 li2" (The Closest Distance) accompanied by me as guitarist.

After passing the preliminary audition on 4th Aug 2000, Tarkmang and I have been practising almost every night in our rooms (thx D4 guys and D3 girls for bearing with us these days!  We didn't disappoint u all!  Yeah!!!)  The victory this time doesn't come easy, a lot of efforts and time have been put in to make this victory possible.  Here we would like to extend our gratitude to all Temasekians and friends who have come down to support us.  It's really a very great encouragement!  We really thank you for your cheers and claps, which we believe it's the loudest among all!!!  Thx a lot!!!

Finally, we would like to hear some words from the winner:

Dunno what to say actually...because everything came too sudden!  I myself can't believe also.  Yet, I still need to thank all my friends who came down to support me that day.

First of all, Denis will be the first person I need to thank.  Without him being my accompanist, I dun think I would have so much confidence (though still had some unexpected incidents happened on the day... ).  Secondly, without my friend forwarded the email to me I won't even have the chance to have my preliminary audition.  Thanks my friend.

Lastly, thanks again to Denis and all my friends who gave me your support for these moments.
