Chemical Constituents
Active principles are a volatile oil,
of a pale blue color
(becoming yellow by keeping),
a little Anthemic acid (the bitter principle),
tannic acid and a glucoside.

Volatile Oil
Yielded by distillation,
but is lost in the preparation of the extract.
Boiling dissipates the oil.
