HOUSE BLESSINGItems needed:sea salt spring water incense white candle broom Sweep your house and discard of the dust outside your home. Starting from the East, carry the incense around the inner perimeter of your home and say, "Powers of Air, cleanse my home of any negativity." Imagine the incense absorbing all negativity and spiralling out of your home. When you are done, say Thank you. Then continue with the candle for the powers of Fire, the water (sprinkle) for Water, and the sea salt for Mother Earth. In each turn, visualize the elemental banishing all negativity from your home. You'll know when you're done when your home shines of a white blinding light or feels right to you. Don't forget to thank the elementals for their help. Other House Blessings include: Keeping herbs in your home black stones in the corners light incense and/or b/w candles visualize a giant bubble surrounding your home deflecting any negativity. ~*~ HOUSE BLESSING Protection Spell for the Home and Inhabitants using the Elements. *First I do not recommend casting a circle for this since you will be moving around the house throughout the whole thing* You will need the following items: A protection incense of your choice (I feel it is better to use what you are comfortable with then something I say you have to use :o) ) You can also use a smudge stick if you prefer. Water that has been blessed (although you can bless it right before you start) A white or purple taper candle with a wise holder so the wax does not drip. Earth that has been blessed (you can use salt if you prefer) Set up all the things you will need before starting this so you do not have to stop in the middle to get it all. When you are ready call to the Elements (do not quarter call them as it restricts them to one area), starting with the incense -- start in the room you called the elementts to. Go to each window and door and outline them with the incense and say; "Element of Air please cleanse this home of negativity, let none who would cause harm upon this home or its inhabitants enter here." When finished proceed to the next room (if possible do it clockwise, if not no harm done) until you have done all the rooms and doors in the home (including the doors to other rooms). Return to your starting point and light the candle and, beginning with the same window or door you originally started with, proceed through the home saying in the same fashion "Element of Fire please cleanse this home of negativity, let none who would cause harm upon this home or its inhabitants enter here". Return to the starting point and get the water and go through the house in the same fashion except on the windows and doors that lead outside draw a pentacle upon them and doors leading to other rooms just pour a little into your hand and sprinkle around the frame saying "Element of Water please cleanse this home of negativity, let none who would cause harm upon this home or its inhabitants enter here." Return to your starting point and get the Earth and go through the house in the same fashion except with the earth in the window sills draw a pentacle (it does not have to be perfect just as long as you do it). Sprinkle a small amount around all the doors of the home. When you have completed the circuit with the earth return to your starting points and spend a few moments in meditation on the home feel the elements cleansing it of negativity and a fresh feeling coming into it. Afterwards thank the elements and let them know that the spell is completed. This method is slightly messy but has done wonders in my home, it works so well that I only need to do it about once every six months or so.
