TEAS

~ Spicy Wine or Moutwash ~
1 bottle white wine or red
2 ounces Cinnamon sticks
{several small sticks}
6 Peppercorns
½ Nutmeg bruised or grated
2 tablespoons or half handful Rosemary
Put herbs in wine.
Steep for 2 weeks, strain, bottle and label.


~ Sage Cayenne Gargle ~
½ pint Sage tea
2 Tbs Apple Cider vinegar
1 tsp Cayenne
To make sage tea steep 4 Tablespoons sage leaves
2 taspoons honey in a pint of boiling water.
Steep for 20 - 30 minutes. Strain.
Combine other ingredients.
Shake every day for about a week.
Excellent to avert a cold.
May be taken internally 1 teaspoon at a time.
Bottle and label with date.


~ Aphrodisia, A Passion Drink ~
1 pinch Rosemary
2 pinches Thyme
2 tsp Black Tea
1 pinch Coriander
3 fresh Mint leaves {or ½ tsp dried}
5 fresh Rosebud petals {or 1 tsp dried}
5 fresh Lemon tree leaves {1 tsp dried lemon peel}
3 pinches Nutmeg
3 pieces Orange peel
Place all ingredients into teapot.
Boil three cups or so of water and add to the pot.
Sweeten with honey, if desired. Serve hot.


~ Winter Punch ~
{a body balancer}
tart Apples
2 Lemons
5 cups water
4 Tbs Honey
4 Tbs Apple Brandy or Cider
Quarter apples and lemons.
Put in a glass pot add water and bring
to a boil leave the heat immediately.
Simmer for about 10 min.
Strain add honey and cider or brandy.


~ Peppermint-Alfalfa Tea ~
{purifier}
1 cup Peppermint, Spearmint or Beebalm leaves
1 cup dried Alfalfa leaves
Mix as a tea.


~ Lemon Mint Blend ~
{digestive and/or cold aid}
½ cup dried Peppermint leaves
1 cup dried Alfalfa leaves
3 Tbs dried Lemon Balm leaves
3 Tbs dried, grated organic Lemon rind


~ Clover Tea Blend ~
{detoxifier}
2 cups Clover blossoms
2 thin sticks Cinnamon, bruised
1 tsp grated dried orange rind
Steep for 5 minutes or until able to drink
if you wish to drink it hot or chilled, which ever you prefer.


~ Anti - Cold Ginger Wine/Whiskey ~
1 pint brandy
several pieces fresh bruised ginger root
Steep 1 - 2 tablespoons root in brandy or whiskey for 7 - 10 days.
Strain, use in teaspoon doses
when you have a cold or chill or you may
add a teaspoon to hot Peppermint tea or Sage tea.
