On May 18th 2002 we traveled 14 hours round-trip to Washougal, Wa, to pick up the newest member of our pack.  The Kennel we chose was Cascade Kennel.  Our pup's Father (sire) is a National Champion Weight puller and Cascade Kennels in known to produce some great pullers and Awesome dogs.  It is our Hope that this pup will someday make a great sled dog and weight puller himself.

Introducing Cascade's Thundering Caillou.

Caillou was born on March 22nd 2002 at Cascade Kennels.  His Sire (dad) is Cascade's Mountain Grizzly and his Dam (mam) is Cascade's Ice Igloo.  Our Son Devan named the pup after his favorite TV cartoon character Caillou.  Pronounced Ki-yew, we beleive it means friend.

Shown here is Devan taking his new puppy for his first walk.  Steele and I are in the background talking with Madeline Sellers owner of Cascade Kennels.  Caillou here is only 8 weeks old.

I don't know what it is about Mals but when you've got the perfect shot they turn thier heads.  Here we are at Beacon Rock State Park where we stopped for lunch.
