Designer Genes: Tia and Tamera are determined to go to the fashion show for the United Negro College Fund. But they have no tickets. Not only did they flunk the radio calling contest they also failed in another contest to be the tackiest dresser. That contest was won by aunt Patrice. Lisa sees a big career opportunity when the managers of the fashion show ask her to come and bring her stuff. She's very depressed to learn that by 'stuff' they meant her sewing kit - not her design collection. Ray's Limousine is hired to drive for the fashion show and he's equipped with a security pass. Wanting to help Lisa in her misery Tia and Tamera 'lend' Ray's security pass and Lisa's dresses. They try to enter the backstage area of the fashion show as supermodels Gemini with Roger as their bodyguard - but the guard won't let them in. As plan B they smuggle Lisa's dresses inside disguised as dress fitters. They hide in a dressing room where they meet supermodel Beverly Peele. She's all excited with Lisa's dresses and want's to wear them on the catwalk. Lisa and Ray find out what's going on and come to get the twins, but after some dispute Tia and Tamera end up being in the fashion show instead...
A Separate Peace: Tia and Tamera are getting on each others nerves. They fight over the smallest things. Ray suggests maybe it's time they got separate rooms. The twins agree and Ray decides they should clear out the basement and let Tia have it. However, Tia has other plans. She wants Ray's den instead, which is located right next to their present bedroom. The women of the house plan a scheme to lure Ray out of his den. Meanwhile Ray is trying to teach Roger how to act manly and not let himself be subdued by Tia and Tamera.
Working Girls: Ray's relationship with Vivica changed him into a new, improved version - according to himself. Tamera can't recognize him at all. He keeps breaking promises to her, making her angry and jealous. Ray announces he will bring Vivica to dinner so that they all can meet her. When the day arrives everybody but Tamera have valid excuses not to join the dinner with Ray and Vivica. Not wanting to be the third wheel Tamera says she won't come either. Meanwhile Tia gets a job at a bookstore / coffeeshop called Book 'em Joe. Here she meets Tyreke for the first time. Another new character is introduced when Lisa hires an assistant, Mattie, to help her finish some dresses. Ray brings Vivica to Book 'em Joe where she finally meets the family. Vivica is nice. She is very impressed with the girls. But even though it seem like a happy end, Tamera still isn't ok with everything - and her troubles continue in the followiing episode...
Show Me the Money: Tia confronts her employer Clark about the raise she didn't get and finds out the male employees at Book 'em Joe is paid more than the females. She's enraged about it, but doesn't want to loose her job, so she decides not to make a fuzz - despite Lisa and Tamera's advice. Tamera decides to stand up for her sister and borrows Tia's uniform. When she confronts Clark about a raise she ends up getting Tia fired...
It's My Party: The twins heed an uncle's birthday advice to seize the day by skipping school and flying to Chicago for the Boys II Men concert instead of celebrating with their parents, but a series of misfortunes turns their dream day into a nightmare - especially when Lisa and Ray uncover the truth and throw them a surprise party.
Child's Play: Tia and Tamera find their upcoming SATs a little intimidating, so they hire a tutor to help them prepare, and are shocked when young T.J. Henderson arrives at their door. They soon discover that he is a wise kid and feel sorry for him that he never had a normal childhood. So instead of studying they spent some quality time with a smart guy.
A Friend in Deed: Tamera tells everyone that she can get Kirk Franklin to appear at a school fund-raiser. The plan is for Tia to ask the celebrity during his book-signing at Book 'em Joe. But Tia never gets to meet him and Tamera is in big trouble. Roger offers to call his famous cousin Batman from Immature and ask him to appear at the raffle, but it turns out he is on tour. Instead the girls dress up Roger to look like Batman. But at the last moment Lisa pulls some strings to get hold of Immature - and saves the day.
Popular Mechanic: Ray is very impressed with his new mechanic Tyreke Scott, a former juvenile delinquent. But when Tyreke asks Tia on a date, Ray refuses to let her go out with him. Tia defies him and goes to meet Tyreke anyway.
The Best Policy: Tamera accepts Tia's wager that she can't tell the truth for one week, but she faces a dilemma when she spies Ray's girlfriend Vivica cheating on him. A prominent client asks Lisa's opinion about the fit of a gown, forcing her to decide if honesty is really the best policy.
Two's Company: After Tia and Tyreke get tired of Tamera tagging along on their dates, they decide to find her a boyfriend. They throw a party and invite a ton of guys, but Tamera falls for the most unexpected guy who wasn't even invited to the party. Meanwhile, Lisa is asked to eulogize a woman she disliked.
Mo' Credit, Mo' Problems: The twins become indebted to a downtown street thug after their car breaks down and Tamera confesses that she maxed out their "emergencies only" credit card. They are stuck downtown with no money for a tow-truck and no money for the pay phone.
In Sickness and in Health: The twins try to reunite Lisa with her younger sister Darcy, whom she hasn't spoken to in years. Lisa refuses because she is like a slave when Darcy is around. However, Lisa changes her mind when Darcy announces that she's in need of surgery. Lisa suddenly takes care of her sister again until she realises what kind of surgery Darcy had...
The Laws: After the twins and Diavian are engaged in a battle of the sexes with their beaus, Lisa introduces the girls to "The Laws." So the three girls lay down the laws to their boyfriends. The R&B teen trio 702 perform.
Rosebud: Tamera feels she has something to prove when she pledges an elite sorority, but the club president has other plans for her new plebe. She doesn't like Tamera, and makes her do heaps of embarrassing things for club initiation. Meanwhile, Ray's old girlfriend "borrows" his business practices for her own use.
Ladies in Waiting: Tia gets accepted to many colleges and Tamera realises that she may not be able to got to College. She and Jordan decide she has to have some Extra-Curricular activities for her college application...
Ladies Choice: After Tia impresses the WNBA's Lisa Leslie (appearing as herself) at a book signing, she's offered a dream job with the organization's media department. But accepting the job means giving up her other dream---college.
Young at Heart: The twins sneak into an over-21 dance club to see hip-hop artist W.C. (appearing as himself). Meanwhile, Lisa sneaks out of the house to go on a date with a just-over-21-year-old.
I Have a Dream: After Tamera is struck with a fear of going to college, she goes to bed and dreams of meeting great leaders in black history who encourage her to face the future.
You Had to Be There: The girls haven't left for college yet, and they're already missing Roger. But when he tags along to the mall with their boyfriends, they're sorry they ever met him. Meanwhile, Lisa tries to avoid having her picture taken by Ray.
Prom Night: The twins are excited about the prom dresses they have just bought. To their surprise, Lisa has also made prom dresses for them. So as not to hurt Lisa's feelings, the girls decide to wear Lisa's gowns out of the house, but change into the other dresses in the limo. The trouble starts when they get to the dance and almost everyone is has the same dresses they do, but the limo, where their other dresses are, is locked....
Shoeless: In a parody of "Cinderella," Tamera's left home to clean house while Tia and the gang attend Jordan's party---until her grandfather makes the impossible, possible.
Graduation: The gang prepares for graduation as Tyreke makes a decision that impacts his life---and his relationship with Tia. What Tyreke doesn't know, is that the "gang" is doing something for him. Terrell Davis of the NFL appears as himself.
