PICTURES Spring Nats 2000
First race with the Firebird was at our home track Gardermoen.
It ran straight as an arrow (Much unlike our Camaro did), with 60-foot times below 1.4 s.
But we noticed some wheelspin, we will have to adjust the four-link later.
This was also the first year we had to run on unleaded fuel,
because leaded is prohibited in Sweden.
Our choise was VP CSP.
We where advised to richen it a little,
but since it ran a little bit rich last year we left is as it was.
Ignition was set at 36 degrees as before. We noted no difference at all.
Our garage buddy Per Frantzen also tested his Toyota Celica in Super Gas.
This car is in fact quite unique because it started its life at the only Pro Stock Toyota in the world!
