I feel that the profound and significant African-derived drumming styles of the Caribbean are essential to children and adults in schools today.

With the newly discovered importance given to multi-cultural education, the art of percussive ensemble is an important link to the rythmic knowledge that drummers from diverse cultures posses.

In my workshops and classes, I offer a hands-on approach to rythym, which opens doors to music of the heart and soul of each participant. We all have music inside ourselves. It just needs to be brought to the surface and developed.
