The picture comes on and it looks like the camera crew are stood outside an arena in the car park at the back of the building.. The camera pans around slowly to look at the entire building, and to the far left there is an electronic sign saying "Tomorrow Night, 24th October, from Greenville, South Carolina at the Bi-Lo Center, TWW Shockwave, Sold out". This is the site for tomorrow nights Tuesday Shockwave. The camera now pans back around to the car park once again and sees in the distance a man walking in their direction with a bag over his left shoulder. The camera zooms in to get a closer look at the man and to try and identify who it is. As the camera focuses closer you can see that it is Smasher. He continues walking towards the arena and camera crew. He reaches the car park and walks right past the camera acting as if it wasn't there. He heads straight for the rear entrance of the arena and walks inside. The camera team follow him.
Smasher continues walking and passes a few TWW staff members who are organising everything for tomorrows event. He gets to the locker rooms and goes inside one. He leaves the door open and he can be seen dropping his bag on a bench and then walking back out, shutting the door behind him. He heads towards the ring area and sees a few more staff members. He turns around to the camera and motions for them to follow him. He walks through the curtain on the entrance ramp and marches towards the ring. The ring has been constructed but the rest of the arena is still yet to be finished. Smasher rolls under the bottom rope and stands in the middle of the ring. The camera crew follow him in, and as they are getting into the ring Smasher is looking up and all around at the arena.
Smasher: "Is that camera on?"
Voice from behind the camera: "Yes."
Smasher: "Good because I have a few issues that are on my mind that I need to address. In the past few days things have changed in TWW. There has been quite a lot of games being played, but these are no ordinary games, these are Mind Games. The reason for this is that with each minute that passes, every second that ticks away we are drawing closer to the October PPV, titled Mind Games. There is now only one more show before the PPV and that is Shockwave. Shockwave will occur tomorrow night from this very arena I am in at the moment, and I can assure everyone out there that there will be a lot of action going on in this very ring. Shockwave may answer some questions which everybody is thinking about but it is more likely add even more unanswered questions. But before I talk more about Tuesday, I want to talk about Friday.
On Lightning this past Friday I faced Woody Driver in a Golf Club on a pole match. Both of us went into the match undefeated, and I said that one would be leaving with their first TWW loss. I also said that Prescott would end up being taught a lesson if he dared to get involved in the match. Well I was right on both statements. Prescott did end up getting what he deserved when I hit the Smash Up on him, because he decided to climb up and get the golf club. I also was right that one of us would lose and unfortunately that was me. I had you down and out Woody and then I decided to go for the golf club to finish the job but Prescott was already there. I lost focus upon what I needed to do and ended up being distracted by your Caddy. While I was destroying Prescott you where resting and saw an opportunity. You picked up the golf club and blasted me with it. Although it wasn't a bad shot you knew it wouldn't be enough to keep me down, so you used the ropes to assist you.
I congratulate you on taking full advantage of the chance. So you used the ropes, that's no big deal, that's no problem because any other wrestler would have done the same if they were in your place. You are the first man here to hand me my first loss, but it will prove to be just a small stain on my otherwise sparking record. The reason why I am unaffected by the way that you won the match is that I know that I have the chance to get my revenge, next Friday at Mind Games. It will be me and you along with your opponent tomorrow night, Sazuka, in a triple threat Finisher Match. This is will be an interesting match as I have watched Sazuka since he joined and he seems to think highly of himself. He has been running his mouth, and shouting the odds that he is the best thing since sliced bread. Sazuka you got a win on Friday and you like to think you should be headlining PPV's, well this is your chance to prove what you are made of. We will see if you are all mouth or whether you can back up that talk with actions.
Woody Driver you told me that you had respect for me, as long as I didn't start bad mouthing you. I believed that I didn't want your respect and that you were nothing. However, don't regret what I said leading up to our match on Friday, but I do see that you are a worthy opponent. You may have used the ropes, but if you can get any assistance without the ref seeing it, then it's a bonus. At Mind Games I will even the results, and give you a loss. But for the moment I am looking towards my match with Wako. On Friday you were going to be involved in a match with one of my future opponents, Sazuka, but he made sure that you didn't even make it to the ring.
Wako you are nothing more that a fool. You think that you amuse people with your antics and jokes but everybody isn't laughing with you, they are laughing at you. It is simple to see that you are the joke, and by walking around with a doll at your age that just confirms that fact. What do you get up to at weekends, do you an your male doll friend, go down to toy stores and look for some female talent. By female talent I mean Barbie or maybe you prefer Cindy, but I think that ken is more your style Wako. Or how about action man, he's the greatest hero of them, you know! It seems that your doll friend got strung up on Lightning, but this Tuesday it will be you that will be strung up. Shockwave will be the match to give me some momentum for the PPV.
I know that you haven't had the best of careers so far in TWW, but I never dismiss my opponents as everyone is capable of winning on their day. The TWW prides itself and is known for only accepting the best onto it's roster and that is why there are no easy matches. But if you want to make it anywhere you must make a name for yourself and a reputation. I plan on doing that the only way I know and that is by winning and impressing the fans and other wrestlers. I may be known as the King of the Gimmick Match but I have more than one string to my bow. I am able to mix it up in any style you want. I don't mind wrestling in none gimmick matches, I just want to compete. Wrestling is what I trained all me life for and that is what I love doing. I must admit that the money is another factor why we all walk into that ring every day. But the money isn't brilliant. But each time we fight we are putting our lives and careers on the line. Look at what happened to Graduate. He got injured in a match and has had to forfeit the title he fought hard to win and keep.
Wako I want to make it clear to you that Tuesday is a night that will see each of us square off. I will prove that against Woody was just a one off and that I am ready to continue getting noticed. Mind Games is only one show away and I will be watching my opponents fight each other. It will be very interesting to watch, and it might also give an indication as to what to expect on Friday. We will just have to wait and see what happens, but I won't be playing any games on Tuesday or Friday."
With that Smasher looks around the arena one more time before walking over to the ropes and dropping down and rolling out of the ring under the bottom rope. He starts walking up the entrance ramp and looks back towards the camera. He continues up the ramp and then walks through the curtain. The camera zooms in towards the curtains and the screen fades to black. |
