Were it not for the monks residing in the monastery, the siblings would have met the same fate. As such, Gren and his sister have lived with and learned from the monks for nearly sixteen years now. Through these monks, he has come to believe in "The Light", a god-less force of good that fights evil and protects the innocent. Now old enough to set-off on his own, he has left his longtime home to act as both a preacher and defender.
