Have been meaning to write for a few days, but haven't gotten around to it. Not that anything exciting has happened lately. On St. Patrick's Day me, Jessie and Kim went to Boston Pizza and had the worst server in the world. His name was TRAVIS G. and he was a total ass. That's right, TRAVIS G., I'm on to you! You'd better sleep with one eye open, buddy! I have mafia connections!!!
Just finished watching Big Wolf. (Don't mock me!) I think I have a problem. They need to start a hotline -- YTV Watchers Anonymous. I looked it up on the internet (the show, not the hotline) and I discovered that Aimee Castle (Lori) is 26 and Danny Smith (Merton) is 27! *POP!!!* That was the sound of my bubble being burst!!! It was obvious to me that these are not real high school students, but in their later 20's!!??! How old is Brandon Quinn (Tommy)??? It's bad enough that he's American! Is he pushing 40??? Maybe he uses Grecian 5! Maybe that's a toupee, cuz he's already bald! Maybe he's a freaking grandfather already or something! I've completely lost all faith in the realism of Canadian television, damn it!
I am reading a good book now. Normally I wouldn't mention it, but this is a really good book. You know how once and a while you get a book that you just want to keep reading, so you stay up all night reading, and you read it at every possible time, but then since you've spent so much time reading it, it's done really quickly, and then you're sad that it's over? Well, this is one of those types of books. It's called Thief of Lives. It's the sequel to Dhampir. They're both really good books, and I highly recommend them. Strangely, it would seem that two different people did the cover art. In Dhampir, Leesil looks really scary and Magiere looks more like a dominatrix than anything. But in Thief of Lives they look a lot more approachable and quite frankly, a lot more real. Leesil still looks a little creepy, but better. If he and Magiere don't finally get together in this book (the sexual tension is killing me!) it will mean that there is gonna be a third book, and that is even better!!! Yay!!! And thus far, all signs point in that direction. I think in the third one, Magiere will learn a lot more about her and Leesil's pasts. They were written by a husband-wife team, and those don't always work out, but this time it does. Yay!!! Good book! Happy dance!!!
Well enough of this for tonight. Time to go and read some more. Or I could go to bed... or I could read... hmmm, this is a conundrum....
