Galadriel the Snail died today I think. I found her floating, and I've never seen either of the snails float. Usually when they're not stuck to something they sink. So I assume she's dead. Now it's just Pyrus and Celeborn alone in their big (2 gallon), empty (a fish, a snail, a filter, a plastic rock thingy...) tank. I really should clean it one of these days. Algae is growing everywhere. I bought the snails on the expectation that they would keep the tank clean, but everything still has a greenish hue. Oh well, I'll clean it one of these days...
Am taking Kyle to see Scooby Doo 2 today. The movie looks absolutely wretched to me, but he seems to want to see it. He's asked me about it a few times, which is his way of hinting that he wants me to take him out. Maybe some girl at his school has seen it and he wants to talk to her about it... I'm really pissed off about rising movie prices. I am taking him to Westmount, which is a crappy theatre with incredibly small screens, but the price for a Tuesday (cheap day?!) matinee is still $6 a person! I have to put out $6 (not to mention food & pop money...) to see Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed?! Perhaps I can convince my mother to give me money... hmmm... yes, that is what I'll do. One advantage to being the neglected child of the family is that my mother feels sorry for me and so I can usually convince her to give me money for stuff.
