What can stand the test of Time
But Time's own bitter kiss?
For what be true and what be false
If false be truths like this?
We have no power over Time,
'Tis Time that ends our life.
We weep as time deliberates
Our sorrow and our strife.
And yet we wish it would not cease,
An hour, maybe more
When Time makes way and brother Death
Comes knocking at our door.
