Straight from the lyrics of Train's hit single, "Meet
Virginia" is a cinematic tale of the realization of dreams.
The story centers on the beautiful VIRGINIA, a young
fashion designer whose dreams consist solely of her career goals.
That is, until MICHAEL, a charming New York Times music critic, enters
her life after a chance meeting.
This is an addition to her already complicated life.
Virginia has an overachieving brother, BLAKE, who has a beautiful wife,
LILY, and a new baby, RACINE. Virginia's boyfriend, JACE, is unfaithful
and attached to a job that is easily scoffed at. Her mother, MARCY,
is quite critical of any endeavors embarked upon by her daughter.
So Virginia, with the console of her best friend,
BRENNA, battles the life given to her to obtain the life she desires.
Virginia, and only Virginia, is what Michael desires.
Taking the advice of his friends-BINX, a bartender and DIANE, a fellow
critic-into consideration, Michael pursues the girl of his dreams.
But, as with all dreams, we're required to awake
and deal with reality. Michael feels he's holding Virginia back from
what she truly wants. So, in a selfless act, he gives up his dream
so Virginia may have hers. Unfortunately, she doesn't perceive it
that way.
Michael made his decision and, eventually, Virginia
has to make hers.
Can one really have it all? This question
is answered in "Meet Virginia"; a story sprinkled with romance, humor,
and drama connected by all the branches of pop-culture.
Yes, you can have it all...if you simply
"Meet Virginia".
