I can't help it folks the week subsequent to the second of
October was a busy time for us. I have finally found time to sit down and work on the web
site.
We took some pictures of the Bird Show in Ft Worth, Texas the second of October. I am
telling you we saw some of the best birds we have ever seen.
And in my humble opinion the best birds weren't participants in the show. They accompanied
the show birds with their people companions.
The Cutie pie above I think was the prettiest bird there. This is a wee baby Umbrella
Cockatoo. Margie Mason had to bring her baby so she could tend to it. She stole my heart.
But then I am an easy mark for baby birds.
Here is another sweet heart that stole my heart. I took 10
pictures of this baby Harlequin Macaw but this is the best that came out, she would not
hold still. I loved it. . This beauty is from, Deena and Jeff Malone. Such a
beautiful baby.
This is the bird that took the show. A cinnmon hen. A very
beautiful bird. I can under stand why she won. Little bit of team effort. Everybody wanted
her to win.
Here she is folks. My nephew says this is the best bird we
saw the whole weekend. His chicken. John is very proud this bird, as proud of this bird as
any of us are about our multi colored cockatiels and all the other birds out there. Beauty
is in the eye of the beholder my friends.
More on these little ones later. Josie is a cinnamon
pearl yellow cheek. Haji is a cinnamon pied split to yellow cheek and little Napolean is a
pearl split. We couldn't leave there empty handed, could we? We got em from Deena & Jeff.
