Breathe

//I can feel the magic floating in the air//
//Being with you gets me that way//
//I watch the sunlight dance across your face//
//And I've never been this swept away//

Graham's skin tingled, from both the magic that was Willow and the magic she'd just performed. They had been dating for roughly three months, but she never opened herself up enough to show him her Wiccan talents. Until today.

She had excitedly called him and said she'd learned a new spell. She told him to meet her in the South Quad under the big oak tree they loved to sit under. She was waiting when he arrived, sitting on her fluffy green blanket. He laid on his side beside her, watching her.

She mumbled a few words and grinned as a bright ball of light appeared on her fingertips. He was amazed. There was so much to this tiny red head that completely floored him, yet excited him at the same time.

He watched as the sunlight lit up her hair, brought out the sparkle in her eyes. He could tell she was happy her spell worked, and that he was awed by it. He was falling in love with Willow, and fast.

//All my thoughts seem to settle on the breeze//
//When I'm lying wrapped in your arms//
//The whole world just fade away//
//The only thing I hear is the beating of your heart//

< He's so happy for my spell! > Willow thought. She grinned, elation running through her. She never dreamed someone as wonderful and caring as Graham would like her AND be interested in her Wiccan talent. She'd been scared to show him at first, but now she knew it was ok.

She laid down, allowing him to pull her in his arms. As a cool breeze blew over them, all thoughts but him left her mind. She snuggled to him, her head on his chest. She could hear his heart beat. She closed her eyes and smiled, imagining it was beating, "Wil-low, Wil-low, Wil-low" She could hear it. His heart was beating for her.

//Cause I can feel you breathe//
//It's washing over me//
//Suddenly I'm melting into you//

The feel of her warm breath through his tee-shirt was driving him crazy. He had to close his eyes and keep his body calm....not let his hormones get out of control.

He was melting. That's the only way he could describe the feeling he felt. He was melting into her. He couldn't figure out where his body ended and hers began. He just knew they were one. He closed his eyes, pulling her closer.

//There's nothing left to prove//
//Baby all we need is just to be//

Willow was so happy. With Graham, she didn't worry about having to be something she wasn't. He completely accepted her for everything that she was.

She knew all of her talents amazed him, and that thrilled her. With him, she knew she could just be Willow.

//Caught up in the touch//
//The slow and steady rush//
//Baby isn't that the way love's supposed to be?//
//I can feel you breathe//
//Just breath//

Graham just about jumped out of his skin when Willow reached up and touched his neck. The feel of her silky fingertips on his skin inflamed every nerve he had. He gasped softly, feeling the rush travel through his body like electricity.

< I'm in love with Willow Rosenberg! > his heart proclaimed. He smiled down at her, kissing her forehead. He squeezed her tightly.

//In a way I know my heart's waking up//
//As all the walls come tumbling down//
//Closer than I've ever felt before//
//And I know and you know there's no need for words right now//

Willow smiled at him when he kissed her forehead. There was something wonderful about Graham...something that crashed through the walls of her heart. Everything she'd built up after Oz left was brought down in an instant by Graham. She felt her heart waking up, blooming under his touch. He was healing her with his love.

She smiled as realization hit her. She was in love with him!

But she decided to wait to tell him. The moment they were sharing was too perfect for words.

*-*-*-*

Two hours later, as the two of them cleaned up the remains of their afternoon, Willow spoke up for the first time in quite a while. "Graham?" she asked tentatively.

"Willow," he smiled.

"I love you," she said softly.

He beamed. He reached out and pulled her into his arms, spinning her around. She squealed, her hair flying out behind her. He slowed down, sliding her down his body. "I love you too, Willow."

She smiled at him, right before he caught her lips in the most perfect kiss.

END.
