Buffy looked around the room, smiling. Things had finally gotten back to good; all of her friends were getting along, everyone felt important. Giles shifted in his chair, trying to keep from falling asleep. Willow was sitting on the couch, a heavy spell book in her lap, reading through different spells. Anya was on the other end of the couch, running her fingers through Xander's hair. He had his head in her lap, enjoying the attention. Spike was behind the couch, pacing back and forth with a lot of pent of energy.

Buffy shifted on Riley's lap, moving the book she was reading. She sighed, finally finding a comfortable position. "Wills, what are you reading?"

"Reading up on some spells," she murmured.

Xander kicked her thigh playfully. "Told you, stay away from the spells, Wills."

She slapped his calf. "I can't get better if I don't practice, Xander. I could do a spell that saves your life one day. And don't kick me, or I'll do something. . .something really not good. I'll get Spike to hurt you."

Spike turned at the mention of his name. Willow's words from the night before echoed in his mind. < "The only way to get away with it is to act normal. Act as everyone expects you to. So that shouldn't be hard for you. . .just hate all of us." > "You'll get me to hurt Chubs?" Spike smirked. "Chip, Red, remember?" He tapped his head. "However, I'd certainly be glad to rip out his entrails, once it's gone." He leaned over the couch, leering at her. "After I get through ripping out yours, of course."

She made a disgusted face and scooted away from him, slight fear rolling off her body. "S. . .Spike, I don't know if that would be such a good idea. . .you know, you ripping out my entrails. I think it would kinda hurt."

"That would be the point, Red." He grinned, his eyes sparkling with desire. He decided he enjoyed this, knowing something about the two of them and keeping it from everyone else. He liked being a part of it - it had been too long since he'd been a part of something devious and underhanded, if he didn't count the time he trusted Adam to remove the chip from his head. He licked his lips and held back the grin that threatened to cover his lips when he saw Willow's eyes darken and he smelled the faint scent of arousal.

She cleared her throat. "Buffy would kill you before you could even think of hurting me," Willow said.

Buffy glanced up, knowing that another fight was about to start. The two were staring each other down, and Willow was breathing a little heavier. Spike always angered her so much.

The Slayer stood up and walked over to them, not noticing when Willow snapped her spell book shut and broke eye contact with Spike. "You two, please stop fighting," she said. "It's getting old."

Spike's eyebrow rose. "What would you have us do, Slayer? Shag?" He chuckled, as if the idea of having sex with the little witch wasn't something he'd ever *dream* of doing.

Willow stood up. "Hey! I'm not *that* bad in bed!"

"Then why did the dog leave you?" Spike growled, hating to say that, but knowing that he would have a week before. He may seriously hurt Willow's feelings, but at least they couldn't yell at him for ruining their alternate lifestyle.

Willow's eyes filled with tears. "That. . .that's not fair," she whispered. She wiped her tears away and sniffed.

Spike locked his jaw, fighting back the impulse to say he was sorry. < Must not apologize. Must not apologize. >

Xander jumped up, punching Spike in the shoulder. "Hey, *Fangless*, that was pretty harsh. If you have such a big problem with us, why don't you get the hell out of here! No one *asked* you to be here!" He wrapped his arms around Willow.

Spike stared at Xander in mild shock. He was kicking him out. Spike's heart dropped, knowing that this was it, this was the end. "Yea, whatever," he grumbled, spinning on his heel and walking out of the door. He slammed it loudly, causing the people in the room to jump.

Willow was sobbing now, her head buried in Xander's shoulder. Xander held her for a few long soothing moments, then finally pulled her away. "Why don't we go outside, get some fresh air," Xander said quietly.

Willow nodded, turning to squeeze Buffy's hand. "We will be back."

Xander leaned down and kissed Anya on the lips. "I'll be back, honey," he said with a smile. "I'll probably walk Willow home, and then I'm all yours."

"Promise?" Anya smiled.

"Promise, An. You know I'm always just yours." Xander smiled, seeing Willow's book out of the corner of his eye. He straightened and picked the book up with him, holding it close to his chest. He guided Willow out of the apartment and into the night air.

Xander groaned when Willow slammed him into the tree. She attacked his lips with a brutalness that he eagerly returned. "I want you," she whispered, grinding her body against his. "I want to feel you inside of me again."

"Mmm. . .need to find Spike though," Xander said, leaning his head back and allowing her to run her lips across his neck. "He probably thinks we are crazy."

"Not crazy, mate. Perhaps a little off the rocker, but I lived with Dru for a bloody century. Doesn't faze me."

Willow spun around, squealing. She threw herself in Spike's arms, kissing him with the same passion she had shown Xander moments before.

When the redhead finally pulled away, gasping for air, Spike studied her flushed face. "So, in there, that was all an act?"

"Now a days? Yea, pretty much. I've been over Oz for a while," Willow nodded. "But everyone expects me to still be depressed over my first. . .I mean, you know, I am the sentimental girl who was completely in love with him."

"And you aren't mad at me?" Spike asked.

"You were perfect," Xander said, wrapping his arms around Willow from behind. "Absolutely brilliant." He grinned, resting his head on Willow's shoulder.

Spike chuckled. "I was almost sure you two were serious."

Willow shrugged. "Well, you know, we've been doing this for a long time. We know how to play off of each other, and how to act around everyone else."

"Bloody amazing," Spike murmured. A slight grin covered his features.

Xander smiled. "Well, as much as I'd love to stick around and have another shagfest like last night, I have to get home to Anya so she doesn't worry." He dropped a kiss on Willow's lips, then leaned up and brushed his lips against Spike's cheek. "You two don't have too much fun, ok? And take notes. Lots of details. I want to hear all about it tomorrow." He grinned.

Willow laughed playfully, shooing Xander away. "See ya later, Xand."

"Bye, sweets," he laughed, walking towards his new apartment.

Spike wrapped his arm around Willow's shoulders. "Come on, let's go shag till the sun comes up."

"And then can we do it some more?" she purred suggestively, rubbing against him.

"I think that can be arranged."

~*~*~

Willow moaned, sliding down on Spike's cock slowly. She'd been riding him for what seemed like an eternity, teasing him as much as she was teasing herself. She enjoyed fucking him slow, building up the passion between the two of them.

He growled slightly. "Red, I'm going to hurt you if you don't go faster." Her slow movements were driving him crazy.

She giggled. She leaned down, nipping at his neck. "But it's so much fun to tease. . ."

"Yea, but, Red. . ." He paused when the phone rang. He looked up at her with a frown.

She looked over at the phone, a frown marring her features. "Who would call this late?" she whispered. A shiver passed through her. Something was wrong.

"I'll be quiet, pet," he murmured, pulling her down to hug her tightly.

"It's Xander," she whispered, not wanting to answer the phone. "I can feel it. Something is wrong with Xander."

"Answer the phone, luv."

Willow reached over and picked up the phone, putting it to her ear. "H. . .hello?"

There was a sniff on the other end of the line. "Willow?"

"Anya? Anya, what's wrong? Where is Xander?" she asked, a chill passing through her body again.

"Oh, my god," Anya whispered. "I was hoping you could tell me. He never came home."

Willow's bottom lip trembled, thoughts of her best friend lying in an alley somewhere covered in his own blood flashing through her mind. "Oh, goddess," she whispered, dropping the phone. "Oh my goddess." She started to cry.
