A Day In Your Shoes

*~*~*~*

Spike and Cordelia decided to spend the day shopping. He wanted to get some nice clothes for Willow, not the fluffy little girl clothes that she was prone to wearing. "What do you want?" Cordelia asked. "Like, leather? Wills looks good in leather."

"How do you know?" Spike asked, fingering a leather corset he'd picked up. "How do you chits *fit* into this?"

"It's very difficult," Cordelia laughed. "Anyway, Willow came from another dimension once, well, another Willow did. She was a vampire. She lived for leather. It looked very good on her."

"A vampire Willow. I'd like to see that," Spike smirked.

Cordelia shook her head. "No, she was bad, evil, wrong. Wait, you *would* like her, probably."

Spike laughed. "Come on, I'm going to try these things on. Go in there with me, make sure I've got it all on right."

Cordelia grinned. "Sure, Spike, whatever you say. You just want to seduce me."

"In Willow's body? Not hardly. If I were going to. . ." He stopped, staring at her smirking face. "Shut up, you bloody chit! You belong to my Sire! If I even so much as *thought* of shagging you, he'd nail me to the wall."

"Perhaps, but that doesn't mean you haven't thought about it!" Cordelia teased playfully, pushing past him to go to the dressing room. "Come on, Junior. Let's go see how hot we can make Willow look."

Willow looked up. She was curled on the couch, reading a book. There was a mug of blood sitting to her right, which she had been sipping on as the night went by. Her mouth dropped open as she stared at her own body, hair pulled up into a beautiful pile on top of her head. Leather pants incased her legs, and a sheer red top covered her chest. Spike had put on a silk black bra, hiding her breasts from the sheerness of the shirt. Make-up was done dark and dangerous. "What. . .what did you do to my body?"

"We are going out. I bought you more clothes, because the fluffy puffy shitwasn't working for you. Willow, you have a *great* body. Why do you cover it up?"

"Leave me alone, Spike," she sighed, looking back down at her book. She made a mental note to burn anything Spike had bought her.

He reached down and grabbed her arm and pulled her up. "Come on, you are going with us. We are going out."

Willow jerked her arm out of his grasp. "No," she hissed, eyes flashing in anger. "I'm not going out, Spike. Deal with it. I just want this day to hurry up and be over so I can get back to my body."

"What are you going to do if you wake up in the morning and you are still in *my* body?" Spike asked, crossing his arms.

"I'm going to go back to Sunnydale and get Giles to help me figure out whatthe hell is wrong with me." She sat back down.

Spike sat next to her, pressing his frail human body against her cumbersomevampire one. "Come on, Willow," he purred. "Please go out with us?"

Willow looked down into her own face and found herself smiling at his flirtations. "Fine. I'll go. Let me go put on a shirt," she whispered softly. She went into Spike's bedroom and grabbed his maroon button up shirt, putting it on without the normal black tee shirt. She buttoned it up. She grabbed his duster and slid it on. After tying up his boots, she walked out into the living room. "I'm ready," she stated.

"Good," Spike said, hooking his arm through hers.

Willow was in hell. She was sitting alone at the table, watching Angel dance with Cordelia, Wesley dance with Faith, and Spike dance with some tall handsome guy she'd never seen before. Spike made Willow's body do things she wasn't aware she could do. She sighed, rubbing her face. < Damn, I wish I could look that good in my own body, > she thought. She found herself wanting to reach out and touch him, even though it was *her* body she'd be touching. It was an odd feeling, but exciting. She wondered what it would be like to throw him down and fuck him.

She shuddered at the image. "Damn," she whispered.

"Hey, having a good time?"

Willow glanced up at Angel, who was smiling down at her. "No, not really. I really *really* want Spike, and he's in my body, and that doesn't. . .necessarily bother me."

"Well, I think some of that is the demon. His demon is quite smitten with you, you know?"

"I've gathered that. I didn't know that before today though." She looked back out at them, narrowing her eyes. "What does he see in that idiot anyway? Spike's body is *so* much better looking than him."

Angel shrugged. "I don't know," he said softly. He chewed his bottom lip. "I've wondered that myself. He looks like someone I've met before. . .but I can't remember who." He shrugged slightly. "Oh, well." He leaned down andkissed her forehead, not caring that outwardly he was kissing the foreheadof a man. "I'm going to go dance some more."

"Yea, see ya 'round." She watched sadly as Angel joined Cordelia back on the dance floor.

Spike was in heaven. It had been a long time since he'd been able to go out to a club and just have a good time. Usually he was too busy looking for a demon, or wishing he could *be* the demon, or something. It was always something. But tonight, he was free. And the bloke he was dancing with was handsome, in a dashing, tall, dark way. < He's nowhere near as gorgeous as I am. . . > Spike glanced over to see his body sitting at the table, frowning. < Poor Red. She's not having a good time at all. I should go over there and. . . >

An arm around his waist threw his thoughts off kilter. Tall, dark, and handsome pulled Spike to him. "Let's get out of here, beautiful," he whispered, his voice caressing Spike's ear.

Spike shuddered in his arms, a feeling of lightheadedness washing over him.< Mmm. . .maybe I'll deal with Red later. Shag now, fix Red later. > "Ok," he purred in what he hoped was a seductive voice. "But I don't even know your name."

The man smiled, his eyes twinkling with something Spike couldn't place. "Anthos," he purred.

Spike frowned, looking away. < Anthos. I know that name. Where have I heard that name before? Hmm. . . > The body he was in kicked in, instincts standing up to yell something was wrong. Spike turned, his hand on Anthos' chest. "Maybe I shouldn't. . ."

"Come on, my little pretty," he whispered, his tongue running along Spike'sear. "It will be so much fun. I want to see those pretty green eyes of yours when you cum. . ."

Spike closed his eyes and moaned softly, pressing his borrowed body againstAnthos. "Ok," he whispered breathlessly. "I need to go. . .over to my table, get my jacket. Tell my friend Wi. . .Spike that I'm leaving."

Anthos walked Spike over to the table. Spike cleared his throat. "Uh, Spike?"

Willow didn't look up.

"Spike!" Spike repeated.

Willow glanced up. "Oh, uh, hi! Sorry, I was lost in my own thoughts." She frowned, glancing at the man standing *way* too close to her body. There was something about him she didn't like. He made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Spike's demon started to get cagey.

Willow's eyes hardened. "Where are you going?" she barked.

Spike stepped back into Anthos' embrace. "Anthos wants. . .to buy me coffee," he said softly. In Willow's voice, it sounded like a frightened squeak.

< NO! > the demon raged. "Fine," Willow grumbled. "Call me later. Let me know you are ok. I'll be with Broody." She looked away, wanting them to get out of her sight as soon as possible. There was something she didn't like about Anthos, and she knew that she should have stopped Spike from leaving with her body, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. For some reason, Anthos screamed danger and she wasn't sure if she could handle him alone.

"Who was that Spike was leaving with?" Cordelia asked, sitting next to Willow a minute or two later.

Willow shrugged. "Some random guy." Willow frowned, glancing around. Sheturned to Angel and the feeling on the back of her neck, the same one that Anthos gave her, intensified. She hadn't noticed the feeling earlier, because she had been too upset about the body switching. "Angel?"

"Yes, Willow?"

"What does it mean when the hair on the back of my neck stands up? I feel it really intensely right now."

"Oh, that? Natural defense mechanism. Means you have a vampire in the vicinity. It will go away. Your demon will push it down in a second, because he knows me. Actually, I'm surprised that he made it go off. Spike and I are so close, we usually don't feel it around each other anymore."

Willow's eyes widened. "He's trying to tell me something. Oh, goddess! Spike!" She jumped up, knocking her chair over. Anthos was a vampire! She turned and ran out of the club.

Stepping out of the club, she allowed the demon to step forward, knowing hissenses would find Spike quicker than she could relying on her human ones. She sniffed the air, starting on the trail of the scent she recognized as her own.
