Don't Leave Me
Angel walked in the condo grumbling to himself. He slammed the door angrily.
Willow jumped from her intense concentration of the movie on TV and glanced over at Angel. "Angel? Where is Spike?"
Angel threw Willow a dirty look. He waved his hand at her angrily, walking to the bedroom he'd claimed at the luxurious condo he and his two lovers rented for the week.
Willow shrugged and went back to her movie, knowing not to mess with Angel when he was in grumble mood. Ever since she'd found the spell to make his soul permanent two years prior, she'd noticed that the demon was much closer to the surface. Angelus would never take over and terrorize again, but Angel definitely had obtained his evil streak.
Fifteen minutes later, the dark-haired vampire had joined Willow in the living room. She was watching a movie, giggling ever so often.
He focused on the movie and groaned. " 'Bram Stoker's Dracula'?" he asked. "Come on, Will, this movie sucks."
"But Gary Oldman...he's the dreamiest vampire..." Willow giggled.
Angel glared at her, then noticed something was odd about her. "Willow, have you been drinking?"
She giggled harder. "Maybe."
Angel opened his mouth to scold her when Spike burst into the living room. "Damn it, Peaches! Leaving me out there, on the boardwalk, ALONE! You remember what happened the last time you did that?"
Angel smirked at Spike. "Shouldn't have bought me that stupid self help tape."
Willow watched her two lovers and giggled again. "Self help tape?"
Spike grinned at her. " 'How to tame your inner demons.' I thought Peaches here would enjoy it."
Willow wiped her tears of laughter away. "Oh, my."
Spike threw himself on the couch next to his human lover. He picked up the drink she'd been nursing and sipped at it. "Red? Alcohol? What is this? Are you drunk?"
"Working on it," she replied. "That, my dear Spike, is a Sex on the Beach."
Spike laughed, his laughter low and seductive. "I'll give you some sex on the beach, pet," he grinned, nodding towards the back door, where the moonlit beach lay.
"Not now. Watching movie."
Spike turned to the movie and groaned. "Dracula?" He grabbed the remote and tried to change the channel. Nothing happened. He growled at the remote, shook it, and tried again. Still nothing. "BLOODY HELL! Red, what's wrong with this damn thing?"
Willow started laughing so hard, she fell off the couch.
Spike growled at her. Angel leaned forward and smirked. "Red, what is wrong with this remote?" Spike repeated.
Willow held up the batteries to said remote. Spike growled and pounced on her, tickling her for the batteries.
After a few minutes, Spike wrestled the batteries from the red head. He got back on the couch and changed the channel.
Willow studied the two of them, her mind fuzzy from the drink she'd been drinking. "What happened on the boardwalk?"
"This time, or when the bloody poof left me 120 years ago?"
"120 years ago," Willow replied, sipping at her drink.
"Ah, yea, ok," Spike said. "It was night time, of course, and we were hunting, like usual. Don't ask me where we were. There was this chit there, she was beautiful. Long brown hair...Angelus wanted her, as usual. And I knew this wasn't one of those eat and run things. Peaches wanted to seduce her, romance her, drain her dry. Some say that the blood is sweeter if the human wants you."
"She was beautiful," Angel agreed. "I have no idea why you are so angry at me about that."
"You left me!" Spike yelled.
Angel frowned. "What?"
"Peaches, you ALWAYS leave me. You left me for Dru, you left me for countless women. You got your soul and left me....It wasn't fair! We left Dru at the house and we were going to have the entire night to ourselves and YOU LEFT ME! Damn it, Peaches!" He frowned. "I just keep waiting for you to leave me again. This time, when you do, you'd better leave me Red, or it won't be pretty."
Angel blinked in surprise. "William," he said softly, "why didn't you tell me it meant that much to you for me to stay?"
Spike laughed. It sounded harsh and bitter to Willow's ears. He glanced down at the tiny hand of Willow's he was holding. "Yea, like it would have mattered."
"You are right," Angel replied. "It wouldn't have mattered then. But now, Spike, it's you and me. Well, Willow too, but Spike, I'm never leaving you again. I prom--"
Spike held up his hand. "Don't make a promise you can't keep, Peaches." He sighed, then stood up. He pulled Willow up with him. "Come on, Pet. We still have four hours before the sun rises, and I think I promised you a little sex on the beach."
Willow giggled. "I like sex on the beach." She led him to the back door.
Angel leaned forward and covered his face with his hands. "I won't leave you, William, I promise," he whispered.
Spike smiled, having heard his sire's promise. He turned before he stepped outside to join Willow. "Hey, Peaches, come on. We are having sex on the beach now."
Angel glanced up, grinning at the leer on Spike's face. "Yea, yea, Spike, I'm coming."
"Not yet, Peaches....all in good time." He walked out behind Willow.
Angel chuckled, joining his lovers on the beach.
