Only For You
I was amazed when I opened my eyes this morning. I had expected. . .well, I 'm not sure what I expected. I guess I expected him to be gone. I know, that's a horrible thing to expect, but. . .
I guess I should have known he'd be here still. He *did* sleep with me, and I wasn't expecting that little surprise at all.
He was watching me, a slight smile on his face. "You have the most beautiful blue eyes," I found myself murmuring, reaching up to run my fingers through his hair.
Spike smiled down at me, running his fingers along my neck. He loved my neck, often raining kisses and nibbles on it all night long. I wasn't sure if it was a vampire fetish, or a Spike fetish. As the night went on, I found I didn't care. I never knew the neck could be such an erogenous zone!
But then Spike had shown me a lot of new things last night.
It had started out as a normal night. I went to Giles' house. We had research to do. Nothing big, mind you, just your typical Friday night research. Since I, of course, had nothing to do, I was glad to help.
Of course, I was wishing that I actually had a boyfriend, so I could be on a date, but that was a normal thought of mine since Oz left. Buffy and Riley were at the Bronze. Anya and Xander were probably being all horizontal, since that's all that they seemed to do lately.
So I'm sitting there, reading some obscure book, wishing that I were anywhere but there, when the door slung open. "Hey, Watcher! I'm here, I need a fav. . ." Spike stopped mid stride.
I looked up at him, my insides going to jelly. They usually did when he was around. I don't know when I went from abject terror to wanting to get to know Spike better, but I have. When he kidnapped us, I was terrified, but I think that seeing him want Dru so much was kind of a turn on.
Yea, I know that's bizarre, wanting a man because he wants another woman, but it showed his depth. Spike has depth! I was surprised. He really was more than a vampire who wants to kill us all.
"Hey, pet."
I knew that he called everyone 'pet' and that I wasn't that special, but for some reason, when he called me 'pet' I would turn to mush more than I already was. "H. . .hi, Spike." I looked back down at my book.
He threw himself on the couch next to me. "Where's the Watcher?"
"Store," I mumbled.
"Why did he go to the store? And why are you here by yourself on a Friday night?"
I sighed. "Because," I said, turning the page. "Everyone else has something to do, and I don't. I told Giles I would help him research. He went to the store to buy me some chocolate, because I asked him to."
"Why do you want chocolate, pet?"
I shrugged. "Does a woman need a reason to want chocolate?"
"Suppose not. So what are your plans for the night?"
"Nothing," I said. "I have no life." I couldn't believe that I said that to him! I could feel the blush starting to rise on my cheeks.
"You know, pet, I can smell the blood when you blush."
Of course, that made me blush more. I turned away from him. "Go away, Spike." Please stay, Spike. Just stop making me blush.
His fingers were cool as they brushed against my cheek. "Your skin is so warm, pet."
Cause I couldn't stop blushing! "It's a human thing, I guess."
"I haven't been with a human in. . .I don't know. More years than I can remember."
"I've never been with a human." Oh goddess, did I really say that?
"You and Dogboy. . .?"
"No, no," I said, "We did, but he was a werewolf, remember?" I shrugged. "He was mostly human, but. . ."
"Never had the touch of a human man. Not so bad." He waggled an eyebrow at me. "You've never had sex until you've shagged a vampire."
I turned to him, crossing my arms. "Like that will happen." I laughed. "There are only two vampires in the whole world that I would sleep with, and if I sleep with Angel, he will go all Angelusy on us. That's not a good thing."
"Who's the other, pet?"
"Other what?" I had already given him so much more information than I wanted to give him. I didn't want him to think I was stupid because I wanted to be with him.
"The other vamp, luv. Who is he?"
"He? Uh. . .Harmony!" I blinked, shocked. Did I say Harmony?
"Harmony?" he asked. "You want to sleep with Harmony? Bloody Harmony isn't even worth your time! I know, I've slept with her."
I frowned, crossing my arms. I didn't want to know about him and someone else. "Yea, well, I bet she was bloody wonderful," I scowled, using one of his most used words.
"Eh," he shrugged. "Had better."
I stood up. "Well, I best be going," I said. I had to get away from him; my mind was starting to imagine him doing things to me. . .well, they were very unWillowlike things. Things like him holding me down, pounding into me, biting me. . .
"You are blushing again, pet."
"Gotta go." I rushed for the door.
Damn his vampire speed! He was in front of me now, blocking me from leaving. He leered at me. "What were you thinking about, pet?"
"Uh. . ." I stammered, staring at the floor. I was wishing it would open me up and swallow me.
"Come on, pet, tell me. You never know, it could happen."
"Sleeping with you, ok, Spike? Are you happy? I told you! Now let me leave!" I felt like such a fool. I winced, waiting for the laughter.
Oddly enough, there wasn't any.
I glanced up, seeing him watching me. "What?" I exploded. "What do you want?"
"You, Red," he whispered huskily.
My knees went to jelly.
We went back to my parent's house. They were gone, and I was staying there for the summer. It was wonderful. I never thought. . .Oz never took me to the dizzying heights Spike did. It was the most amazing experience I'd ever had.
And when I woke up a few minutes ago, he was still here. I couldn't believe it. I still can't.
And then he started kissing my neck again. I giggled, running my hand down his chest to his hard. . .well, you know. He was ready again. "Such stamina," I murmured into his blonde hair.
"Only for you, pet," was his muffled reply against my skin. "Only for you."
END.
