P I N K P O P

This was the first year I had been to Pinkpop. It is a festival in Landgraaf, The Netherlands. The last Pinkpop this millenium was the first one without any rain (!) during three days. This had never happened before. The first two days were only for people who stayed on the camping, like me, the last day -Monday- people from 'outside' were welcome as well. On Monday 60,000 persons were present on the festival . . . My favourite bands: Luka Bloom, Band Zonder Banaan, Rowwen Heze, Soulfly, Soulwax, Robbie "you guys in the back are fucking wankers" Williams, Skunk Anansie, Alanis Morisette . . . and the ultimate top . . . Faithless.

The guy in the -Scottish- kilt is me, Arno. The lad on my left is Paul Neijmeijer.
