They wed quickly and life was grand until Katja began to "smarten up" so to speak as the memories of her past life started surfacing and with them more understanding and an easier time with everything. Feeling insignificant Art endevored to make himself better for her, beginning with learning how to write the basics and read. It was slow going but when he finally showed Katja what he'd learned he was beamingly proud of himself and happy because she was very happy herself.

But this, over time, was not enough for Art so he spoke to the doctor at the company Katja worked for, a man named Jeremiah Nolarian, and went through a delicate one time proceedure that would correct the mental instabilities but it only had a 35% chance of sticking and couldn't be attempted again. For a time he was the man he always thought Katja wanted, he was suave, read her sonnets, had long conversations with her but when the surgery began failing he found that she missed the old Art, the man that adored her and gave her simple things from the heart instead of big expensive boastfull things... he found that he had become the opposite of what he thought she wanted and so did not argue as the surgery failed.

Before the surgery, Art suffered a major blow to his emotions that set off his feelings of insufficiency. His adoptive sister, Cher Capelli, disowned him and fired him from the ranch on which he had worked for years. Hurting inside badly, he spent many long hours with his treasured toy Mr. Stuffies, but after a time came out of it with the mind set that he had Katja and it was all he needed. However, after the surgery failed he soon found that Katja was pregnant and life got even more grand.

After Colias and Una arrived he became the devoted husband and father that he never had, wating on the children and Katja hand and foot and always at their beck and call. He adored his new life and everything in it, and it was only getting better.

One day when Katja was visiting her children from her former life, a relationship that Art insists she have as it wouldn't be right to not see them, he met her former body's mother Kyerahn Meelar. She took to Art instantly and quickly adopted him, giving him a new name and a new mom and a very VERY large family to enjoy. He took to it all quickly, like the hungry child his mind makes him. Through it all one question plagues the back of his mind, who were his real parents and why did they not want him.
