A Poem by Katie Kump

All things we've done together
All the things we've planned
I wanted you at my wedding
Holding my hand
with a great smile across your face.

Everything Winter, Spring, and Fall
I could barely wait at all
For that summer day that comes around
When I pull in your driveway
Your laying on the groung
Under a car
Working so hard
For people
Who count on you at the last minute
When their car brakes down before they go to town.

And now all I can do is smile
When I remember your great laugh
And frown when I remember I won't have anymore loving summers spent with you.
