A brown fire lizard seemed to almost sing as he sat upon the head of a normal sized green dragon. The brown swayed back and forth as the green's eyes seemed to start to show specks of red. Suddenly the green shook her head violently, dislodging the plump brown. A young boyish looking girl of 18 turns chuckled at the green's feet.

It's not funny, Yui. the green commented to her rider sternly. "I'm not laughing at you, Rysenth. I'm laughing at what you did to Kymon," the girl giggled. The green rumbled after a moment, That was funny wasn't it? Kymon chirped irritably at his larger, green, cousin. He didn't think it was funny. Aw, go chase a female fire lizard. the green chuckled mentally. The brown seemed to not like the thought at first but after the words sunk in he gave a warble and flew out of the weyr in search of females to flirt with or fly.

"Over four turns with him and he hasn't changed much," Yui chuckled watching her fire lizard zip out. If your memories are correct, Kymon hasn't changed at all. Yui chuckled at her dragon's comment. He's not that bad and you know it. But it's a blast making fun of him this way. And I don't think he really minds it like he should. Yui ended for her lamely and sighed.

"Let's go to the Weyrlake," Yui commented abruptly, the green tilted her head at her rider questionably and smiled as her rider quickly changed from her normal every day clothes to her swim wear. Quickly mounting her green, she patted Rysenth for her to take off towards the lake. The green complied, lazily leaping from the ledge of their weyr and spiraling down towards the lake bellow.

The large lake looked beautiful in the light of Rukbat. This beauty was not lost upon rider and dragon though as the two slowly circled to land they started to notice that some other riders were now taking in another beauty. Yui, who are they staring at? The green rider looked behind them only to find no one there. Yui turned to look back at the dragons and riders looking at them. Slowly, realization that each person looking at them rode a male dragon dawned on her. I think they're looking at us, dear heart, Yui commented mentally. Her eyebrows narrowed slightly as she started to remember how long they'd been together. This is our second turn together as lifemates. They must know that and are wondering if you're going to fly soon. Of course I'll fly soon… doesn't mean they'll catch me though the green grinned. I wonder if Weyrwoman Allani will be putting up a flight board for those of us who have females old enough to be flown Yui commented thoughtfully as she dismounted her green and followed at the radiant green's side into the water.

We'll just have to wait and see about that now won't we, the green replied looking over her shoulder at a number of the males dragons she'd grown up around. A glint of mischief rolled about in her eyes with small flecks of red; Rysenth was becoming proddy.
