Juve in Rome

The Bianconeri arrived at Rome's main airport, Fiumicino, late on Tuesday afternoon and went directly to their hotel in the centre of the Eternal City in time to watch the Cagliari-Roma Coppa Italia match on television. This time the team decided to stay in a hotel in the centre of Rome rather than at the Borghesiana (approx. 30kms from the city centre) because they did not have to train while in Rome.

Early on Wednesday morning the team met one of their more famous fans: well-known top model Youma who was in the hotel reception area for a photo shoot. As soon as she discovered that the Bianconeri were staying at the hotel, she showed her true colours, declaring that she is an avid Juve fan and thus met the squad a few minutes before they went to lunch.

In the meantime, Alessandro Del Piero made a dream come true for one Juve fan. In his usual easy going way, Alex gave her a shirt and posed for a few photographs with a young student who is bound to remember this special day for the rest of her life. TV celebrity, Alessia Merz, another great Juve fan, is expected to join the players at their hotel late in the afternoon and will also be at the Olimpico to support Juve. Lazio are hoping for a late rush on tickets sales as despite the reduced prices, on the eve of the game only 14,000 tickets had been sold.
