As the season draws to a close and the big match gets ever nearer all eyes are on Juventus star, Alessandro Del Piero. The Gazzetta dello Sport dedicates its front-page headline to comments made by the Bianconero number 10. He gives no thought to how Lazio will fare but reminds readers: "The Parma match could be the moment we win the Scudetto." The sight of Malesani shouting with joy as Crespo hit the injury-time equaliser earlier in the season still hurts the Bianconero star: "That scene is often talked about in the dressing room," he reveals.

The Corriere dello Sport also runs comments made by Del Piero: "The Scudetto will not slip through our fingers. We can secure the title on Sunday by beating Parma. Our destiny is in our own hands, not Lazio’s."

There is more from the Juve playmaker in Tuttosport. The Turin-based daily goes on to comment on the fact that the number 10 has already scored six goals against Parma, including three in one match. Now he wants the title. "We deserve to win the Scudetto, to lose it would be too much to take,” he admits. Finally, Tuttosport does not let Ancelotti’s “anger” pass unnoticed, and observes that the Juve boss will be hungry to beat Parma, his former club, in order to show his true worth.
