Following Umberto Agnelli's 'deliver or else' ultimatum to Alessandro Del Piero, brother Gianni spoke to juventus.com about the striker and other favourite subjects.

Who would you say are the favourites for the Scudetto? 
"Lazio are definitely the strongest side and have been for the last couple of years, I'd say. We're probably next up, followed by Inter, Milan and Roma. Clearly last season has proved that a side from the capital is capable of winning the League."

What are you looking forward to most from the new season?
"Seeing what Alessandro Del Piero is capable of..."

You recently said that Del Piero had been treated as a 'Mummy's boy' during his time at Juventus. Do you really think that's the case?
"Del Piero was initially taken under Boniperti's wing, then he became the favourite of the press, not to mention all the fans. So it would be odd if he weren't also ours! Ever since he arrived at the club, he has been everyone's pet. We have always believed in him and we continue to do so."

How do you feel about the fact that Zinedine Zidane has been tipped to win the European Player of the Year award?
"Obviously I hope he wins it - he deserves it."

What are your expectations of David Trezeguet?
"He has a tremendous eye for goal, and he's always scored about 20 per season. Let's hope he keeps it up..."
