Welcome to Naples!

The Bianconeri couldn't have
hoped for a better welcome in Naples. The squad emerged at the airport
to a rapturous greeting from a healthy-sized crowd of local Juve fans.
There was more of the same
outside the squad's hotel, where they will be based in the run-up to Saturday
night's match. No sooner had the team bus pulled up than chants for Alessandro
Del Piero reached fever pitch. The man himself certainly had a sense of
the occasion, and revealed his new look: a return to short hair which,
for the record, visitors to juventus.com had recommended in emails to the
great man.
But on the receiving end
of the biggest surprise of all was a group of French tourists. They hadn't
known about the Bianconeri's important fixture in Naples - and looked distinctly
taken aback to see Euro 2000 heroes David Trezeguet and Zinedine Zidane
in the flesh. They just had time to pay their respects before the squad
disappeared into the hotel foyer, where they were promptly welcomed by
club general manager (and Naples-born) Luciano Moggi.
