There is not a special revenge
against Zdenek Zeman for Alessandro Del Piero in the goal he scored versus
Napoli last Saturday. The Italy international, actually in the retreat
with the national team, explains it was an important goal especially since
it allowed Juventus to win the match.
"It was a normal post-game,
both for me than for my team mates. Obviously we were happy since we won
and when we went to Napoli, it was just to get that success!"
"Personally to score it was
great and left me very satisfied. But I was not thinking about Zeman and
about what happened in the past! When I play I just care about the team
and I knew with the goal I was helping it!" Del Piero said.
Meanwhile it's not sure at
all he will play against Romania next Saturday. In fact coach Giovanni
Trapattoni in the first training tried an attack with Filippo Inzaghi and
Marco Delvecchio, supported by Francesco Totti. But this is not a problem
for the Juventus star.
"Well Trapattoni didn't say
anything yet. So no one knows who will play and who will stay benched!
We have two matches in few days, so I guess he will need all the players,
and we all must try to give out our best. I'm sure the coach will be happy
to have to choice among many well-prepared players" Del Piero said.
And he closed "So it's not
so important who will play as starter on Saturday, although I would like
to play!"
