Del Piero under fire from fans

ANGRY Juventus fans have turned on former favourite Alessandro Del Piero after the club's faltering start to the season. This is not a good period for the Italian giants having been knocked out the Champions League, the Coppa Italia and they are performing well in the league.

Until last week Bianconeri supporters always supported their players, but after the demoralising Champions League defeat to Panathinaikos they have started to direct their anger and frustration towards the players.

At training on Friday more than one hundred supporters voiced their displeasure against Italian international striker Del Piero.

Juve fans don't want to see Del Piero at the Delle Alpi Stadium, because they think the forward is only in the starting eleven because the sponsors want him to play despite his bad form.

Meanwhile Carlo Ancelotti revealed he will play Paolo Montero in the heart of his defence against Serie A rivals Lazio on Saturday night.
