Del Piero on the mend

Alessandro Del Piero had a scan and magnetic resonance treatment to determine the extent of the right thigh muscle injury that has seen him miss the Bianconeris’ last two League games.

Club medic, Riccardo Agricola, revealed that Del Piero’s situation is encouraging and that all is proceeding according to plan. The 26-year-old striker should therefore return to action, as expected, in around 20 days time.
