says Agnelli

Alessandro Del Piero won
back some of his former fans at Juventus when he rolled back the years
with some vintage touches as a first-half substitute in the 4-0 win over
Vicenza.
During the week a disgruntled
Del Piero had threatened to quit the club if he didn't play more regularly.
However the 26-year-old striker won nothing but praise for his display
after coming on for the injured David Trezeguet.
Juve president Umberto Agnelli
said: "Del Piero played really well. I'm confident that he can be just
as good a player as he was before his injury. Today he almost scored another
great goal."
Coach Carlo Ancelotti refused
to be drawn into the debate about Del Piero's future and preferred to focus
on an impressive Juventus performance.
"The team were at their best,"
he said, "the players are confident and were aggressive and focused even
when four-up.
"I don't think the scudetto
is a three-horse race. There's Roma, Lazio and us, but anything is possible
in Serie A."
Part of the reason for Juve's
revival is the form of Filippo Inzaghi. The striker grabbed a hat-trick
against Vicenza to make it seven goals in six games but was just glad to
be in a winning team.
"We are playing better and
better," he beamed. "I was pleased with my three goals but laying on an
assist for Davids gave me more satisfaction."
