Del Piero delighted with goal

ALESSANDRO DEL Piero was delighted to have scored the winner against Bari yesterday and earn Juventus another three points.

"I'm very happy for this victory and for the fact that I've scored" - said Del Piero - "this victory comes after a very tough week for me."

Nevertheless, even if the media kept on having their doubts about Alex, his team mates certainly didn't: "We knew that Alex has been in great shape for months now" - said Juve's veteran player Ciro Ferrara - "but for the media all that counts is that you score so if you don't they say that you're in a crisis.

"The fact that Del Piero has been always helping his team even without scoring, doesn't matter in the eyes of the public opinion."
