Del Piero out of Lecce clash

ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO has left Italy's training camp and will not play in Wednesday's friendly with South Africa, or Juve's clash with Lecce. 'Pinturicchio' picked up a muscle injury against Parma on Sunday but despite missing this Sunday's clash with Lecce he has vowed to be back in time for the clash of the season with Roma in two week's time. Alex says that the game with Parma convinced him that Juve will be able to battle for the League title until the very last match day. The fact that despite the draw, Juve kept trying to score until the very last minute is proof that nobody in Turin wants to make things easier for league leader AS Roma.  "In Parma we have proven to everybody that we are ready to spurt for the finish line. We won't give up till the end," he said.
