ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO, who
picked up a slight muscle strain in Sunday night's 2-2 draw with Roma,
is expected to resume training again today. After being told to rest yesterday,
Del Piero will be looking to cement himself in Carlo Ancelotti's plans
for the weekend trip to Florence. Meanwhile the three players who picked
up bookings during the 2-2 draw with Roma will all miss this weekend's
clash with Fiorentina. As expected Mark Iuliano, Gianluca Pessotto and
Alessio Tacchinardi will be forced to sit out the game as Juventus look
to reduce the six-point deficit separating themselves from Roma. Filippo
Inzaghi is suffering from a slight sprain in his ankle but according to
Juve's physician Riccardo Agricola, 'Pippo' will be ready for the game
with Roberto Mancini's side, as will Edgar Davids who was forced to pull
out of yesterday's training session with a slight blood clot.
