Alex at the "Village"

Some people would stand before the stage since 2:00 pm, some guys gave up the idea of watching the team's training in order to gain a front seat, families with their kids carried on shoulders so to have them see, may be only for a few minutes, the very symbol of both Juventus and Italian Football.

The literally crowded Village greeted him with triumphal welcome. Obviously, to let the fans ask him hasn't been easy, but luckily enough few people already conveyed their questions to the host and Del Piero disappointed nobody.

He spoke about U2, his favourite band, he told of what he usually does when he wakes up in the morning ("I'm quite silent and have a hard time getting up"), of how much time he spends on his website (www.alessandrodelpiero.com). Never-ending applause, mostly on behalf of the female part of the audience, especially when he tells of his sharing the room with Tacchinardi ("Don't worry, he doesn't snore..!").

Applause again when he promised that Juve will do their utmost to win something important. For the fans who reached Valle D'Aosta from many districts of the country, this has been a very important moment, a moment that Alex sealed with the customary round of autographs, more applause for this, too, as a reward for the care he's shown.
