Del Piero satisfied with Juventus performance

TURIN - The bandage on his hand still disturbs him.

"I still have to wear it for ten more days. I am looking forward to get rid of it," says Juventus FC midfielder Alessandro Del Piero with a smile. The 200th game in black and white shirts was marked by another successful performance of this talented footballer, who scored again in match against Piacenza.

"I am very much satisfied with me and with the squad. At last we regained our habit of winning. The attitude towards this game and the spirit of the squad were on a high level. Of course there are still some difficulties to be overcome but nothing comes that easy. We'll continue the same way," stated the player.

His long lasted contract with the club allows to consider Del Piero the symbol of the club. The player himself admitted that it seems to him he had played football for so long that he had never thought of quitting his football career: "He laughs best who laughs last. It is too early to sum up. We have a great potential and we can always get everything we want. We had a very good start this season, then there were some problems but now everything fell in its place. We occupy the third position in the Italian championship and it's not bad at all. But nothing will clear up till January because for some teams this is just the beginning".
