"It is a well deserved Scudetto," said Del Piero. "It would have been for Roma and Inter as well though. We have been second for the past two years for one point and know what it's like. Now were enjoying it.

"We kept on believing, not only today. Sure, after drawing against Lazio our chances were much less but we didn't give up. Strange destiny- A Lazio that two years ago beat us to the title, today did us a favour."
