Del Piero plays in training match

Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero has played his first match since sustaining his leg muscle injury.

He featured for 35 minutes in a training match against the Juve youth team.

"The recovery is proceeding well," he said. "But it is too soon to make forecasts. I'd like to be there in the upcoming matches, as much as I was sorry to miss those against Manchester."
