Del Piero out of Deportivo match

Alessandro Del Piero's return from a thigh injury has been halted because of illness, and he will now not feature against Deportivo La Coruna on Wednesday.

"His thigh is no longer causing him any problems but he hasn't trained all week because of the flu," said coach Marcello Lippi.

"I can't tell you when he'll be back for sure but he won't play against the Spaniards in midweek.

"It would be wrong to bring him back too soon with such a delicate part of the season approaching us

The Italian international has been out injured since February 2.
