Juve deny Del Piero link

Newcastle - Juventus have denied reports in Italian newspapers that Newcastle United have made a £10m move for their striker Alessandro Del Piero. 

Del Piero has a contract with the Italian champions until the year 2000 and a spokesman said: "He's staying here.'' 

Juventus remain keen on Newcastle's Alan Shearer, but have been told an exchange deal is not on the cards.
