Del Piero chosen for all stars

Injured Juventus star Alessandro
Del Piero has been picked as part of a team to play a celebration friendly
in Australia in June.
The striker is still trying
to recover from knee surgery on damaged ligaments at the end of last year
and must be rated as a doubt for the June 12th game between a FIFA all
stars side and the Australian national team in the Olympic stadium in Sydney.
World Cup winning coach Aime
Jacquet has chosen the 32 players from among the best in the world to celebrate
the start of the countdown to the Olympics in Sydney next year.
Andrii Shevchenko and Hidetoshi
Nakata are two young stars picked to be in the squad. Former Australian
citizen Christian Vieri has been chosen along with Manchester United trio
Yorke, Beckham and Giggs. World player of the year Zinedine Zidane is also
included.
