Paris - The association of the Juventus Clubs of France that joins the scattered clubs on the French territory (Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Nizza, Grenoble, Colmar, Bandol and in the provinces of Sonne and Lorena), directed and coordinated by the president Renato Ieffi, gathered to the annual appointment near the luxurious Meridien Hotel of Paris, to celebrate the fourth edition of the Tour Eiffel and the successive delivery of the trophy. After Lippi in 1996, Deschamps in 1997 and Moggi in 1998, to the frenzy of the black and white people for 1999, most of the votes were for the fantasista Del Piero. "Alex, after that terrible November 8th in which he hurt his knee ligaments, undoubtedly deserved the Eiffel trophy", declares the president Ieffi. "The Juventus Clubs want to show all their affection and gratitude. After coming back from Udine with the squad, the player left yesterday afternoon from Castelle at around 6 p.m. and after an one hour flight he landed at the airport Charles De Gaulle. To receive him there were the responsibles of the people from the black and white clubs to take part of the feast in his honor. But Del Piero lost himself in the airport and still made it to the awards with a little delay. However the festivity began around 9 p.m. with the presence of the general consul of Paris and some Italian economic representants in the French territory mixed with almost a hundred Juventus supporters, almost all of them from Italy. Del Piero kindly excused himself for the delay caused by the traffic on the European skies. Then the awards.
