to the transfer rumours, the midfield player is about to sign a contract
with Juventus. This would be a 20 billion lira deal, according to Tuttosport.
But today's biggest story
is about the 2006 Olimpic Games covered in the Turin papers, La Stampa
and Tuttosport: "Turin: Game over!" explaining the long night waiting for
the final verdict.
The Gazzetta dello Sport
spends more time on the Del Piero's issue: "Del Piero - Peruzzi - Simeone,
keep Juve, Inter and Lazio in check" commenting on new events surrounding
the bianconeri No 10 and the signing of the nation goal-keeper.
There's also large coverage
of the transfer market and preperations for the new season. Tuttosport
has an endless list of players on the move, including the Brazilian playmaker
