Del Piero returns after 8 months and marks the occasion with a goal!

He's been worth the wait. Last night saw Del Piero's first match for Juventus in 8 months, for Udine the team he leaves behind, it will be a great loss, for sure. The venue for the friendly was St. Vincent and the unfortunate competitors were a Val d'Aosta line up. It didn't take long for the soccer ace to get it together and find the right conditions to score. Juventus did not seem reduced by their battering by Romania and the absence of Pippo Inzaghi (who was off due to a sprained ankle), and secured a victorious score of 2-0. The first goal was scored by Rigoni in the 23rd minute, and Del Piero's goal came in the 33rd minute with a beautiful skilful shot. The game gave the Nigerian Oliseh a chance to play.
