Other than the positive result and Del Piero's return, Ancelotti couldn't find much to be satisfied with. He said that both the defensive unit and the midfield didn't play well, since it gave the Russians too much space for counter-attacks, while not recuperating much balls.

Ancelotti expects to field Zidane against Rennes, but not together with Del Piero.

Ancelotti also defended Montero's ejection, saying that Juve needs an aggressive player such as Paolo. For Ancelotti, it would be a lot worse if Montero tried to force himself to be less rough, since he wouldn't play naturally. He also said that Montero's ejection was unnecessary, since he didn't do anything particular grave.
