It's Del Piero day

On Friday afternoon at 3pm (Italian time) Del Piero will help realise the dreams of eight children who will get to meet their favourite player. The lucky few are the winners of a competition launched by Pepsi Cola, which have offered as first prize a day with the Bianconero number ten. The young fans, who all receive free travel to Turin and free hotel accommodation will be waiting for their hero at the Comunale stadium before the afternoon training session.

Alex will sign autographs, pose for photos and answer their questions. They will then watch the training session and get the opportunity to meet the other Bianconeri players. A gazebo and some advertising boards have been erected to give this worthwhile event a bit of glitz.

And it doesn't end here. The eight lucky competition winners are expected at the Juventus club offices on Saturday at 10.30am (Italian time), where they will have a tour of the club's trophy room.

From there everybody will be whisked off to the Delle Alpi stadium, where they will also get a peak at the changing rooms. Alex's guests will end the never to be forgotten day by watching the match against Bologna, scheduled for 3pm (Italian time). At the end of the match they will have the opportunity to say goodbye to their hero. As a souvenir of the great event, Pepsi Cola will award each competition winner with a signed certificate and a series of photos taken during the course of the day.
